Land Record Assistant (LRA)

The Directorate of Land Records & Surveys, Assam has announced 579 vacancies for Land Record Assistant (LRA) in Amalgamated establishment of District Commissioners office (except sixth schedule areas), Assam.

Candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications: 6 (six) months Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training pass from Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40, declared proficient in the mandated examination by an official result declared by the Director of Land Records & Surveys etc., Assam, in both Survey and Settlement subjects, prior to the commencement of Govt. notification No. LA&A/429557/158 dated 13.08.2026; Computer proficiency: minimum 30 WPM typing speed in English and 15 WPM in Assamese/Bengali. The age limit for the post is 21 to 40 years.

The application process is scheduled from 21 September 2026 to 21 October 2026.
