The Southern Railway has announced 4308 vacancies for Act Apprentices – Ex-ITI (Fitter, Electrician, Welder, COPA, Turner, Machinist & other trades) in Southern Railway Units (TN, Kerala, AP, Karnataka, Puducherry & A&N).
Candidates must have 10th pass with minimum 50% marks + NCVT/SCVT ITI certificate in the relevant trade (trade-wise subject conditions as per notification). The age limit for the post is 15 to 24 years.
The application process is scheduled from 28 August 2026 to 27 September 2026.
₹9,600 per month
Training period as per Apprentices Rules rebate for Ex-ITI candidates. Selection based on merit list (10th marks 100 + ITI marks 100 = 200, equal weightage) followed by document verification.
