Important Notes

  • Candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of the State of Assam. Proof of domicile requires a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes.
  • Candidates must possess a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
  • Candidates have to submit a declaration regarding 'The Small Family Norms' in Form-A at the time of applying.
  • Candidates currently working in regular Government service (permanent or temporary) must upload an employment certificate issued by the competent authority. This does not apply to casual, ad-hoc, daily-wage, hourly-paid, or contractual basis employees.
  • Candidates seeking pay protection, continuation in service etc. must upload No Objection Certificate (NOC) against the applied post, issued by the competent authority.
  • Selected candidates will be required to undergo one year of mandatory training in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science at the School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Assam, Ghungoor, Silchar, or its extended campuses under the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department. Candidates must successfully complete and pass the training before appointment.
  • If any candidate fails to pass in one or more subjects, he/she may be allowed to sit for re-examination with conditions: (i) Total three chances for qualifying; (ii) If unable to pass in three chances, not eligible for appointment.
