Selection Process

1. Written Test/CBT (Total 120 minutes, 100 marks)
2. Part A – Discipline Specific: 90 minutes, 80 MCQs, 80 marks, negative marking -1/3 for wrong answer
3. Part B – Aptitude/Ability: 30 minutes, maximum 15 MCQs, 20 marks, no negative marking
4. Qualifying Criteria: Unreserved – 50% in each part; PwBD (where post reserved) – 40% in each part
5. Interview: 100 marks assessing technical/academic knowledge, technical general awareness, presentation and communication skills, comprehension and academic achievements

Important Notes

• Age limit: Maximum 28 years as on 16-09-2026
• Age relaxation for Serving Central Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities as per Govt. of India orders
• Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech or equivalent in respective branch of Engineering with aggregate minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10
• Posts at ISRO Centres/Units are Group ‘A’ Gazetted; posts at Autonomous Body (PRL) are Group ‘A’ Non-Gazetted
• Recruiting Body: ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB)
