How to Apply

1. Visit the official SSC website.
2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) using your required personal details.
3. Log in to your SSC account using the registered credentials.
4. Select Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2026.
5. Fill in the online application form carefully with your personal, educational and other required details.
6. Select your preferred post/force as applicable.
7. Complete the required Aadhaar-based authentication or provide the alternative documents specified by SSC.
8. The application module will capture a live photograph; follow the prescribed photograph instructions.
9. Pay the applicable ₹100 application fee through the available online payment methods. Women, SC, ST and eligible ESM candidates are exempted from the fee.
10. Submit the application form and save/print the final application details for future reference.

Required Documents

1. Two recent passport-size colour photographs
2. One original valid Photo ID Proof
3. Matriculation/Secondary Certificate
4. Educational Qualification Certificate
5. Equivalent Qualification Certificate/Order, if claiming an equivalent qualification
6. Caste/Category Certificate, wherever applicable
7. Valid Driving Licence for Motorcycle and Car — applicable to male candidates who have given preference for Delhi Police; the licence must have been issued before the PST/PET.
8. Ex-Servicemen (ESM) documents, wherever applicable, including the prescribed undertaking and serving defence personnel certificate.
9. Any other document specifically mentioned in the Admission Certificate for Document Verification.
10. Aadhaar/ID for One-Time Registration

Important Notes

• Candidates can apply online from 10 September to 30 September 2026.
• The fee is ₹100. Women, SC, ST and eligible Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted.
• There is 0.25 marks negative marking in Paper-I and 0.50 marks in Paper-II for each wrong answer.
• Candidates should exercise their post/force preferences carefully, as allocation is based on merit and available preferences.
• Male candidates giving preference for Delhi Police must have a valid Motorcycle and Car Driving Licence issued before the PST/PET.
• Candidates should enter their name, date of birth and other details exactly as recorded in the matriculation certificate. Mismatch can lead to cancellation.
• The application requires a live photograph; candidates should ensure it is clear, front-facing and without a cap or spectacles.
• Application correction is available from 8 to 10 October 2026.
