The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has announced 2510 vacancies for Helper in Any GSRTC department / depot in Gujarat.

Candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications: ITI in a prescribed trade from a Government-recognized ITI (trades: Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Mechanic Diesel, General Mechanic, Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Sheet Metal Worker, Automobile Body Repairer, Welder, Welder-cum-Fabricator, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter General, Automobile Paint Repairer); Basic computer knowledge as per the notice. The age limit for the post is 18 to 45 years.

The application process is scheduled from 7 September 2026 to 6 October 2026.

  • Preference / 10-mark weightage for NCVT apprenticeship in the same ITI trade in Govt. / Semi-Govt. / PSU / Ltd. / Pvt. Ltd. organisations

Additional Information

Initial appointment on contract/fixed pay for 5 years. Regularisation after satisfactory completion of 5 years subject to GSRTC rules. Posting at any GSRTC department/depot in Gujarat. Horizontal reservation: Ex-Servicemen 502, PwD 52. GSRTC may increase or decrease vacancies as per roster/requirement.
