Salary / Pay Scale

₹21,100 per month (fixed pay for 5 years); then regular Helper pay as per rules

Selection Process

  1. Written Examination (90 marks towards merit)
  2. ITI Trade Apprenticeship Certificate (10 marks weightage)

How to Apply

  1. Step 1: Read the GSRTC Helper notification and confirm ITI trade, age, computer certificate and apprenticeship (if any) as on 06.10.2026.
  2. Step 2: Open OJAS → Apply Online → Helper recruitment → Apply Now. Fill personal, ITI, apprenticeship and computer details and complete the self-declaration.
  3. Step 3: Save the form, note the Application Number, and upload photo and signature (JPG, max 10 KB each; photo about 5 cm × 3.6 cm, signature about 2.5 cm × 7.5 cm).
  4. Step 4: Preview, confirm the application, note the Confirmation Number and pay the fee online on or before 08.10.2026, 11:59 PM.
  5. Step 5: Print the confirmed application. Keep the same mobile number and email ID. Carry photo ID and original call letter to the exam; electronic devices are banned in the hall.

  1. Passport size photograph (JPG, max 10 KB, about 5 cm × 3.6 cm)
  2. Signature (JPG, max 10 KB, about 2.5 cm × 7.5 cm)
  3. Photo ID proof (for examination)
  4. Original call letter (for examination)

Important Notes

  • Horizontal reservation: Ex-Servicemen 502 and PwD 52.
  • GSRTC may increase or decrease vacancies as per roster / requirement.
  • If more than one form is submitted, only the last fee-paid application will be counted.
  • Keep the same mobile number and email ID throughout the process.
  • Carry photo ID and original call letter to the exam; electronic devices are banned in the hall.
  • Initial appointment is on contract / fixed pay for five years. Regularisation in the Helper cadre is only after satisfactory completion of five years, subject to GSRTC rules.
  • Selected Helpers will be posted at any department or depot of GSRTC in Gujarat, as per Corporation requirement.
