Constable (General Duty) – Sports Quota

The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced 126 vacancies for Constable (General Duty) – Sports Quota in Anywhere in India or Abroad.

Candidates must have Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised Board. The age limit for the post is 18 to 23 years.

Qualification

  • Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised Board

Eligibility Criteria

  • Male and Female Indian citizens, including subjects of Nepal and Bhutan
  • Sports Qualification: Players who have participated or won medal(s) in the level of competition given in Para-4(C) of the advertisement from 01.01.2024 to 01.11.2026
  • Acceptable sports levels: International (participated or won medal in International Competition with clearance of Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports); National (represented State/UT in Senior/Junior National Championships recognised by Department of Sports, or National Games organised by Indian Olympic Association, and won medals/positions up to 3rd place); Inter-University (represented University in Inter-University competition conducted by AIU/Inter University Sports Board, or Khelo India University Games, and won medals/positions up to 3rd place); Khelo India Games (represented State/UT in Khelo India Youth Games (age category above 18 years) or Khelo India Winter Games and won medals/positions up to 3rd place)

Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) on a temporary basis, likely to be permanent. Selected candidates will be governed by the ITBPF Act, 1992 and Rules, 1994.
