The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has announced 49 vacancies for Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) in Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam.

Candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications: HSSLC (Science) with Biology as a subject; One Year Training Course in elementary knowledge Veterinary Science (One Year Training Course) from the recognized 'School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry' established by the Govt. of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar.

Eligibility

Qualification

Must have successfully completed One Year Training Course in elementary knowledge Veterinary Science from recognized School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry at Ghungoor, Silchar
Age as per Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Rules, 2002 and Government orders
Must be of sound health both mentally and physically, free from organic defects/bodily infirmity
Must undergo medical examination before appointment

Description

Age of the candidates shall be governed by the applicable provisions of the Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Rules, 2002 and Government orders time to time. The age of the candidate shall be determined on the basis of the HSLC Certificate/HSLC Admit Card or certificate issued by a recognised board/council.

Salary / Pay Scale

Pay Band of Rs. 14,000/- 70,000/ + Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.

Additional Requirements

Physical Standard: Candidate for Direct recruitment to the cadre of Veterinary Field Assistant under Rule 3(d) shall be of sound health both mentally and physically and free from any organic defects of bodily infirmity likely to interfere with efficient performance of duties and require to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service.

Additional Information

Selection based on merit: HSSLC (Science) marks (20), VFA Training Course marks (40), Viva-voce (40). Total 100 marks. Application fee: Rs.10 for ST/SC, Rs.20 for others via KAAC Money Receipt only. Offline application to Member Secretary, Central Selection Board, KAAC, Diphu.
