The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced 26 vacancies for Apprentice in North Eastern Region (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura).

Candidates must have one of the following educational qualifications: For Graduate Apprentice (Electrical): B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical Engineering (full-time regular) from recognised institute/university; For Graduate Apprentice (Civil): B.E./ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil Engineering (full-time regular) from recognised institute/university; For Diploma Apprentice (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering (full-time regular) from recognised institute/university; For Diploma Apprentice (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering (full-time regular) from recognised institute/university; For ITI Apprentice (Electrician): ITI in Electrician (Full-Time course) from recognised institute/university; Candidates holding qualification acquired through part-time/correspondence/distance education/online mode are not eligible; Candidates should be passed out within two years from the closing date of application (i.e. from 11.09.2024 to 10.09.2026). The date of declaration of result in the final examination should be clearly mentioned in the mark sheet.. The required experience is No job experience of more than 1 year; Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training in any organisation for any duration. The minimum age requirement is 18 years.

The application process is scheduled from 25 August 2026 to 10 September 2026.

Graduate Apprentice: ₹17500/month; Diploma Apprentice: ₹15000/month; ITI Apprentice: ₹13500/month; Additional ₹2500/month if no company accommodation provided
